LifeandLeadership.Com Summary

Part I of this resource covers the same issues as McBurney’s older volume, Every Pastor Needs a Pastor. Parts II and III are designed for professional counselors who give aid to ministers in need. They offer helpful spiritual foundations and psychological strategies for three of the more common diagnostic conditions presenting in ministers: marital maladjustment, depressive illness, and dysfunctional personality. For people on a congregational or denominational level who are charged with ministering to ministers, either in crisis care or ongoing support, McBurney is an excellent resource.
