Resources for Reconciliation, Duke Divinity School

Introduction
Resources for Reconciliation is a collaborative effort between InterVarsity Press and Duke Divinity School’s Center for Reconciliation. It reflects the mission of the Duke Center: Advancing God’s Mission of reconciliation in a divided world by cultivating new leaders, communicating wisdom and hope, and connecting in outreach to strengthen leadership.
Emmanuel Katangole and Chris Rice serve as series editors, who organize two authors for each volume, one from the academy and another from the field of practice, providing theological rootedness in the biblical story and practical credibility from grassroots experience. Each volume in the series is relatively brief, with questions and guides at the end to facilitate small group discussion. The hope is that they will “equip and stimulate God’s people to be more faithful ambassadors of reconciliation in a fractured world.” They address many areas of brokenness, including racial and ethnic divisions, family, urban centers, poverty, disability, Christianity/Islam relations, violence, and the environment.
